Firehouse Gallery Presents Solo Exhibition by Artist Doug Kinnett
May 2 - May 26
Charles Town, W.Va. — This May, Firehouse Gallery will present a solo exhibition of new paintings by Doug Kinnett, an artist from Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Known for his vibrant use of color and intricate layering of abstract forms, Kinnett’s work in this exhibition will include more than 20 original paintings, most of which will be exhibited for the first time.
“When my work is at its best, it is playful to the eye,” Kinnett said, whose paintings often display a vivid sensibility. “The heightened emotions brought to the viewer through color and shape arrangements are the core of my studio work. My greatest satisfaction is bringing happiness to another soul.”
All are invited to attend the solo exhibition’s opening reception, which will take place at the gallery located at 108 N George Street in Charles Town, WV, 25414, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5.
Visitors are invited to explore the exhibition in May during gallery hours: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
