I was told by an art teacher that artist see more, and I am a firm believer in that. We see not only the positive but the negative. The beauty that surrounds us every day is what we see and as an artist what we paint.
The painting starts with lines on a canvas or paper. The texture and color variations are what make it a painting. I love color and the happy accidents that occur with paint.
