Leanne Bowers – Digital Artist

Leanne Bowers is a digital painter and graphic designer whose creative practice balances analytical problem-solving with personal artistic exploration. She earned her BFA in Art and Visual Technology with a concentration in Graphic Design from George Mason University and has since built a 15+ year career as a professional graphic designer working across branding, publications, and visual communication.

While her design work is client-focused and strategy-driven, Leanne’s digital painting and illustration serve as a space for personal expression, play, and artistic joy. Her artwork often explores nature, animals, texture, and quiet emotional moments, allowing her to create intuitively and experiment freely outside the constraints of commercial design.

In addition to her creative practice, Leanne is an active leader in the design community, serving as a board member of the Graphic Artists Guild, a national trade association supporting professional artists and designers. She values community-building and lifelong learning and is excited to engage with a local network of artists through the Firehouse Gallery.
